Awareness campaign with the Community Police in Dhi Qar Governorate combating the drug

The Continuing Education Center at the National University of Science and Technology, in collaboration with the Department of Media and Public Relations, organized an awareness campaign with the Community Police in Dhi Qar Governorate within the university premises on Sunday, May 14, 2023, aimed at combating the drug epidemic.

The campaign seeks to raise awareness among students and staff about the dangers and health risks of drugs and their overall impact on society. It also aims to strengthen the role of the university and the community in combating this dangerous phenomenon. The community police, in collaboration with the university and relevant anti-drug organizations, are leading this campaign.

The campaign includes the distribution of informative pamphlets and brochures detailing the harmful effects of drugs, as well as methods for prevention and recovery from drug addiction.
