The Continuing Education Center at the National University of Science and Technology organized a scientific workshop titled "Risk Management and Precautionary Measures". The workshop was presented by Prof. Dr. Sahar Ahmed Shafiq, Chairperson of the Risk Management and Vulnerability Assessment (RVA) Committee, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Salam Jumaa Hamad, the University’s liaison with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The workshop was held on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at the Dn6-B208 hall. Its aim was to raise awareness about the importance of risk management and the implementation of precautionary measures to achieve sustainable development goals. The session emphasized protecting the environment and ensuring the sustainability of resources for future generations, highlighting the critical role these practices play in safeguarding both the present and future of communities.
