The Relationship between COVID-19 and Smoking

The workshop held on (6/11/2021), titled "The Relationship between COVID-19 and Smoking," was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Hassan Mahdi Al-Niazi, a faculty member at the College of Medicine, University of Dhi Qar. This event offered insights into the health challenges posed by smoking amidst the spread of COVID-19.

The workshop covered the effects of smoking on the immune system and its link to an increased risk of severe complications from the virus. Dr. Al-Niazi also discussed preventive measures that could help smokers reduce these risks during the pandemic.
