Environmental Challenges and Their Impact on Food Security

The Department of Scientific Affairs at the National University of Science and Technology, in collaboration with Meta Future Educational Academy, organized a workshop titled "Environmental Challenges and Their Impact on Food Security," presented by Dr. Sarhan Ahmed Suleiman, an expert in foreign trade and international marketing from Egypt, on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, via Google Meet.

The workshop aimed to discuss various environmental challenges affecting food security, such as climate change, water scarcity, soil degradation, and crop pollution. It also addressed the impact of these challenges on agricultural production and livestock in Arab countries. The workshop contributed to raising awareness about the importance of taking effective measures to ensure food security and achieve sustainable development.
