The Department of Scientific Affairs at the National University of Science and Technology, in collaboration with Future Meta Academy, organized a workshop titled "The Impact of Climate on Agriculture" on Friday, July 21, 2023, via Google Meet. The workshop was presented by Dr. Nasr Ahmed Salah, a professor at the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University.
The workshop aimed to educate participants about the impact of climate on agriculture, plant growth, and productivity, as well as ways to manage this impact to ensure crop quality and improve the feasibility of farming in various regions. Additionally, the workshop sought to raise awareness about the importance of understanding climate's effect on agriculture, which contributes to agricultural development, increased productivity, better crop quality, and improved living conditions for communities dependent on the agricultural sector, thereby enhancing sustainable development.
