The National University of Science and Technology, in collaboration with Meta Future Educational Academy, organized an educational workshop titled "Poverty: Between Reality and Aspiration." The workshop was presented by Dr. Aida Abdel-Fattah Mohamed Hussein, a specialist in mental health and behavior modification from the Arab Republic of Egypt, on Saturday, May 13, 2023, via Google Meet.
The workshop aimed to introduce participants to the concept of poverty, its causes, and its psychological, social, and economic impacts. Additionally, it aimed to raise awareness about the importance of community involvement and volunteering in combating poverty and improving living conditions for marginalized groups, thereby supporting the achievement of sustainable development by dedicating efforts to eradicate poverty.
