The Department of Scientific Affairs, in collaboration with the Department of Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation at the National University of Science and Technology, is organizing a training workshop titled "How to Handle Chemicals and Laboratory Safety". The workshop will be presented by Dr. Alaa Risan Al-Rashed, Professor of Toxicology at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Dhi Qar, and a faculty member at the Faculty of Education for Pure Sciences, University of Dhi Qar.
The workshop will take place on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 10:00 AM.
This workshop is crucial for individuals working in laboratories or handling chemicals in general. It aims to raise awareness about potential hazards and teaches preventive measures to avoid workplace accidents, ensuring the safety of the laboratory environment.
