In celebration of International Day of Women and Girls in Science, observed on February 11, the Continuing Education Center at the National University of Science and Technology marks this day by displaying posters across the university's screens. This initiative aligns with the center's new approach to honoring global and international observance days as outlined by the United Nations General Assembly.
The celebration aims to highlight the significant contributions of women and girls in the field of science, promoting gender equality and empowering young women to pursue careers in scientific fields. Through this event, the university seeks to inspire and encourage further participation of women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), contributing to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 5—Gender Equality.
