Educational Trip To Al-Rahman Private Hospital

As part of the scientific cooperation between our university and health institutions in our beloved province of Dhi Qar, and in compliance with the directives of the esteemed University President, Prof. Dr. Abdul-Razzaq Laibi Shamkhi, and the esteemed Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Falah Hassan Al-Asadi, within the framework of student scientific activities, and pursuant to the administrative order issued by the Department of Administrative Affairs, entitled (To Al-Rahman Private Hospital) under reference number 7/54/2514, regarding a "Educational Trip", which facilitates the task for students of the College of Medical Devices Engineering – Second Year, divided into four groups.

Following the response and warm welcome from Al-Rahman Hospital in their letter No. 2287 dated 13/12/2022, confirming their continuous cooperation with our university, a schedule for educational trips was established, with trips set to take place every Thursday.

Objectives of the Educational Trip:

  1. To provide students in the College of Medical Device Engineering with both scientific and practical skills, allowing them to become familiar with X-ray Machines.
  2. To diagnose faults that may occur in X-ray Machines.
  3. To train students to acquire comprehensive knowledge of the different components of X-ray Machines and keep up with technological advancements.
  4. To equip students with the necessary skills to design X-ray rooms and the software associated with X-ray Machines, as well as to perform necessary updates related to the equipment.
  5. The Department of Medical Devices Engineering, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Center and the Scientific Affairs Department, is committed to achieving quality standards based on the available resources.

This collaboration aligns with the goals of Sustainable Development (SDG 4 - Quality Education) by fostering practical learning experiences and ensuring students gain the knowledge and skills necessary to contribute to the advancement of healthcare technologies.
