Air Pollution and Its Impact on Climate Change: How to Reduce Emissions Through Supporting Energy.

On March 5, 2022, the Continuing Education Center at the National University of Science and Technology hosted a workshop titled "Air Pollution and Its Impact on Climate Change: How to Reduce Emissions Through Supporting Energy."

The workshop was delivered by Dr. Mohsen Aziz Mashkhol Al-Khafaji, Head of the Environmental Impact Division at the Dhi Qar Directorate of Environment. Dr. Al-Khafaji discussed the critical issue of air pollution, its significant role in climate change, and the importance of reducing emissions. He also emphasized the vital role of supporting clean energy alternatives as a key strategy to combat environmental degradation and mitigate climate change.

The workshop provided a platform for participants to learn about the harmful effects of air pollution and gain practical knowledge on how to contribute to the global effort to reduce emissions and promote sustainable energy practices.
