The Department of Scientific Affairs at the National University of Science and Technology, in collaboration with Future Meta Academy, organized a workshop titled "Investment in Protected Agriculture" on Friday, July 14, 2023, via Google Meet. The workshop was presented by Dr. Walid Gamal El-Din Mohamed Raslan, a Sustainable Development Consultant from Egypt.
The workshop aimed to introduce participants to the concept of protected agriculture, its types, and benefits, while also shedding light on the challenges faced in this field and how to overcome them. The session further discussed investment opportunities in protected agriculture and methods for evaluating investment projects in this sector. The focus was on preparing effective action plans to support agricultural investments in protected farming, which contributes to sustainable development and enhances food security.
